Delegation of the Nizhny Novgorod Region headed by Deputy Governor Andrey Sanosyan held negotiations in Belkoopsoyuz. It included the Minister of Agriculture and Food Resources Nikolai Denisov, Deputy Head of the Representative Office of the Nizhny Novgorod Region in Republic of Belarus Galina Vozniak and specialists of the Russian business community.

The guests were greeted by Inessa Karatkevich, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Belkoopsoyuz, and the heads specialized departments and heads of unitary enterprises. The main topic for discussion is increase in mutual trade.

For the first quarter of 2022, foreign trade turnover between consumer cooperation organizations and business entities of the Nizhny Novgorod region increased by 51 times - up to 410 thousand US dollars. Nevertheless, Belkoopsoyuz is interested in expanding business connections and mutually beneficial partnership.

The parties agreed to explore possible areas of cooperation and prospects in the areas of mutual interest. Nizhny Novgorod, for example, is interested in the supply of cattle meat, wild berries, ready-made mink fur products. At the same time, wholesalers consumer cooperatives are ready to buy Russian vegetable oil, flour, cereals and a number of other goods.

Negotiations showed the readiness of the parties to move to a new, even higher level trade and economic relations.
